Passion - an ally in manifestation...but be careful

How do you maintain, or indeed even anchor passion amid the day to day ego grind of the work-a-day world? What is passion, do you have it consistently? If not, what would you do for a taste?

I love this channel, it speaks more to me now than it did back in 2009 when I brought it through. Maybe because, while Susie and I have always been passionate about Virgil's channelling, the fact that it is now published gives as the much need avenue to grow and nurture that passion. Thank you to all our fellow travellers.

Good Morning Virgil.

Passion. Sally and I discussed this concept yesterday evening, as we both feel the lack thereof in our lives. It is most certainly a concept we would both strive to feel as our natural state, as we are aware it cannot be contrived. Are we not supposed to feel this way as a result of our inner journeying? We would love your insight on the subject. Much Love, Susie

Good morning my friend, it is a pleasure to be here in a more vibrant energy. Firstly, you are correct that passion cannot be contrived; it cannot be coerced from another, nor manufactured from the outside in. As highlighted in your question though, you, and many others, associate passion as the result or outcome of 'something' that happens to you. Passion is instead a natural state of being – that you do not block and constrict when you are in the flow of your life, and in a state of openness, oneness, love and acceptance. In short, passion is the translation of your higher self to the physical realm.

Now this is not to say that the feeling of passion cannot be triggered by something seemingly outside of you. This is because you are so accustomed to looking outside yourself to gauge your life, that often a physical event is devised to bring forward the feelings that you have been unable to reach on your own. You may encounter an event or person that opens you sufficiently to allow the passion of your higher identity to come flooding in. It is the same premise that asserts it is just as necessary at times to trigger the lower feeling aspects that require healing – a premise with which many of you are acutely aware.

When you experience the feeling of passion, whatever the trigger, immediately recognise it as a state that you wish to maintain. This is perfectly normal to have a preference for an uplifting experience over a, shall we say, more turbulent, trying one, in your efforts to learn more of yourself.

So enjoying and especially allowing the feeling is important. The problem occurs when you attach yourself to the event or person that triggered your heightened senses, instead of focussing on the feeling itself. If you align the feeling as an outcome of an event, then you are doomed to surrender it in short time, since no physical event is infinite. Similarly, if you credit your feelings to a person, then you are assured of eventual disappointment, since no person can sustain in you, the levels at which your own higher self can. Enjoy the exchange of energy with the trigger, but always remember that it's highest purpose is to give you a glimpse of what you already contain and an opportunity to anchor that in your life, eliminating the need for physical triggers to show you who you are.

When passion is seemingly absent from your life, heaviness ensues. This is because passion is derived directly from the void of spirit, the place of higher consciousness, beyond form. If you allocate passion as an outcome of the physical plane, then you immediately limit and restrict it. It will appear to leave your life, and so you will then allocate the cause of your angst to the apparent absence of the original physical object, event or person. To this end, much time is wasted in your realm dissecting 'what went wrong,' so to speak. No-'thing' went wrong. Your lack of understanding as to the true purpose of what manifests in your life, via spirit, has clouded what is really a clear theme. Does this make sense to you?

For sure.

If you find yourself attempting to analyse your life's triggers, just immerse yourself in the feeling so that it can wash the chatter away like a gentle tide. If you feel passionate, then be in it fully, allowing yourself to feel it, even if you need the image of the trigger to keep it going in the short term. Yet also, bring into play the absolute understanding that the essence is about you and allow that knowledge to direct you beyond the physical and into the void, the formless world of spirit, from whence all inspiration is sourced. Your pathway to anchor the feeling in your own life, in your own right, and in light and responsibility will emerge – Know this.

Conversely, every time you attempt to categorise, or manipulate the physical in order to grasp the essence of the feeling it appears to deliver, then you are actually in opposition to your own inner spiritual self. You limit your creative potentials as you look for meaning outside of yourself. When all things are accepted as mere triggers, then more importantly, consciously journeyed that way, it is easy to be grateful for the sharing and feel the love that binds all creations between souls.

Now having said all that, it is of course a natural reaction to want to feel more passion when it comes in, is it not? But the key is not in the holding of it, but instead in the nurturing of it. To this end, the way in which you respond will determine whether you will collapse your inspiration into physical complexities and difficulties, or instead follow the feeling to drive you to new heights. These new heights will then translate into impacting on the physical, but probably in areas that are unrelated to the original trigger, and therefore open up new possibilities for creation that you see your own hand in, as opposed to it happening to you. An important learning and distinction for all who seek conscious manifestation of their physical life.

So in essence you need to act on the way in which it makes you feel. So if you are feeling more beautiful, confident, and excited as a result then you know that these feeling essences are coming through to be acknowledged and birthed in to your physical reality. You then need to take this essence out in to your life and into the inner desires you truly hold - NOT necessarily via the trigger that brought it about, so contemplate carefully your inner truths. Does this make sense to you?

Yes it does. What does one do if passion is simply non existent in their life though?

Passion is never non existent. It is hidden amidst expectation and disappointment

Aaaah.of course.

If you return to the wonder of spirit, the magic of manifestation, the acceptance and acknowledgement of the void, the place within where all potentials exist and can be made physical, then you will find your passion. You both know where your desires exist. They do not really exist in physical form at any rate do they?

No....but we have tried really hard to find them there!

So why you squash your passion according to physical outcomes is a difficult question indeed. A simple response would be that it exposes another layer of understanding the ego drives, Susie. Ego likes to think it understands passion, but it merely wants to feel alive. Ego feels alive in pleasure and pain, so to take control of and responsibility for its choices is imperative. It can be easy for the ego to channel this passion into something destructive, just to feel alive, or for the short term, just to hold the feeling. Such a choice would either smother passion or worse, channel it for destructive purposes, at the lower end of the polarity whole. Does this make sense to you?

Yes

Passion cannot rely on a physical outcome Susie, it can only be allowed, followed, and acted upon - not in the physical sense - but in what you might attempt and achieve and become if you are driven by the heightened sense of Soul in freedom, happiness, confidence and love. Passion is your birthright and as such can only lead you to a greater knowing of oneself and one's abilities that are ready to manifest from the void of your Soul; that which sits above any form of earthly symbology.

When you were younger Susie and you wore your velvet clothes and hippy jewellery you might say that you were wearing your passion on your physical being, almost as a way of grounding it. However, you and the channel no longer ground your passion for the spiritual life in such an obvious way, which is the reason for the trigger. Sometimes, we have to see our passion reflected back to us, and when we have seemingly lost ours, well, that attraction is irresistible. You need to call in your own reflection so that you can ride the wave of it rather than dismiss it as a physical thing - does this make sense to you?

Yes

Do you have any more questions?

Well not really. What you speak of makes perfect sense, as always, and has been very inspiring.

If you find your passion and act then according to the sense it gives you, regardless of the physical trigger, then you will be automatically creating in accordance with the void and be liberated and humble and satisfied enough with your progress that the outer triggers will truly not matter. Understand that often your ego interprets them absolutely incorrectly. Feelings are never faulty, but you can overlay them with faulty expectation or interpretation if you are not diligent. Your life is a work in progress, live it that way. Put on one of your old velvet hats - bring the void into the physical.

Sounds good, thank you.

You're welcome. Be blessed my friend.
