We, Sally Mackay and Susie Trumble, along with our friend and guide, Virgil, have been working directly on Your Beautiful Life, since 1999. We spent many years developing our friendships and rapport, and sharpening up our respective channelling skills and roles. It has been a process that has left no personal stone unturned in our lives and one that has given us the ability to respond with grace to the many challenges and initiations of this physical life.

Prior to anchoring Virgil's teachings in our lives, both of us had spent many years exploring a wide range of spiritual modalities in the hope of grounding some awareness of the deeper meaning of our physical journey. Despite many years of 'soul searching' our lives continued to manifest in ways that shook our core and appeared to happen to us. We had no idea how to apply the brakes, go within and alter our course to a more gentle way of personal growth. It seemed we were living a series of 'spiritual tests' in which we would search for meaning and purpose in hindsight only, often in the aftermath of upheaval. While we spoke of Universal support and love, it frequently appeared as though the opposite was our companion. 

To say that we were ready for profound change, is an understatement! Virgil, as channelled by Sally, had always acted as a guide and not a guru. Our beautiful lives would never be bestowed upon us, instead we had to manifest them ourselves from the inside, out. He took us through a series of simple, yet deeply profound lessons that facilitated an awareness of the compelling, yet false veils of ego illusion that had been impacting our lives. When the final veil was removed, it cleared the way for the higher perspective of Soul to enter. Notions such as empowerment and self mastery became real as we learned to hold our light amid any circumstance.

Our journey has grown to be become the foundation of this book. Our experiences provide a touchstone as you embrace the lessons and reveal your own unique ego illusions. It took us well over a year to channel this work, then transcribe it from our taped conversations. The years that followed were spent working with many willing groups of participants to ensure a consistent and reliable process for all. These early participants are to this day, our greatest supporters. Therefore, this work is a genuine collaboration of spirit and humanity, which we believe is its greatest strength.
